| Date: | 2009-09-06 | | Headline: | Meetings at Pathways | | Message: | At the district meeting held Sunday September 6, 2009, the district voted to change the format of the meeting held at Pathways. The Friday night will no longer be a part of the Serenity Group but the meeting will continue. Sunday morning Serenity meetings will continue to be the responsibility of the Serenity Group.
The Saturday 1:00 p.m. meeting will continue as an open discussion meeting.
The Saturday 6:30 p.m. meeting will become a treatment facility meeting following the guidelines in the Treatment Facility Workbook which suggests that this meeting is restricted to clients or residents only and not open to AA in the community. This meeting will not be listed in the local or regional AA directories and will be conducted as a beginners meeting for those individuals residing in detox.
These format changes are effective immediately and will be implemented Saturday, September 12, 2009.
